Directors’ profile - VijaySai & Vidya

VijaySai B.S. who began his career as a lecturer in the Department of English, Sri Sathya Sai College Whitefield and culminated his career as Manager Human Resources in HealthScribe (now Spheris) has immense experience in the field of training and development. Having an MA in English language & literature and a PG in HRD, he has worked taking care of various facets of HR in HealthScribe including T & D, Reward & recognition, Organizational Communication, formulation of new policies, “Fun” & culture building within the organization.

During his six-and-a- half- year tenure at Healthscribe he has had the experience of closely working on the shop floor to study the training needs and customize relevant programs for the employees of HealthScribe. He has conducted programs in Soft skills & Personality Development covering topics ranging from Positive Thinking, Stress management, Time management, Human relations, Personal Effectiveness, Team building, Emotional quotient, Interpersonal skills, Self Esteem, Leadership, Presentation skills, E mail & Telephone etiquette, Professionalism, Communication & Creative Visualization in various organizations.

VijaySai’s specialization in Phonetics in MA and his passion for the same has also taken him into the realm of Voice & Accent Training. He introduced Phonetics & Accent as a subject in Medical Transcription training way back in 1999 during his tenure as an English & Accent Trainer at HealthScribe. He put the material together and worked with the pilot batch of the first Call Center in Bangalore – Firstring India (Now ICICI OneSource). He also underwent the specialized 120 hours of “Train the Trainer” program by Catherine Dorsch of Amerispeak. He has so far personally trained over 3000 CSRs in Accent and English. He has conducted ‘Train the Trainer’program to over 100 aspiring trainers, managers, TLs and QA members. He is a part of the audit team for on-the-floor assessment of Accent & telephone skills in HTMT. He is also involved in V & A assessments of new recruits of various Call Centers.

VijaySai also conducts regular, one-day, public domain workshops in various places on a specialized topic “Mind your Mind”. He is a motivational speaker who has lectured in various colleges and forums. Bangalore University, MES college, MLA college, MS Ramaiah college, State Youth Center, Mythic Society, RBI and has even featured in the AIR.
